Environmental Issue
Another advantage of opting for ink cartridge refills is an indirect advantage. By choosing ink cartridge refills you will be lending a helping hand to protect the environment. This is because if you purchase new ink cartridges every single time then the ink cartridges that are thrown out cause harm to the environment. Around 48 million ink jet cartridges are sold in Europe each year, 81% of these are only used once and each contains around 70 grams of oil.
